Moving in…

feels empty.  I don’t know this blog… it needs to be filled. I also have to admit that changing blogs so that I’m not as easily googleable (ooh, good word) feels inauthentic. Because of course in the ideal world everyone would see us for who we really are and would love us anyway.  I am realizing more and more how much of an idealist I am.

I find it funny that this really does feel like moving.  I kinda expect the welcome wagon to show up and the neighbors to bring over casserole dishes and help unpack.

  1. …yes, but you will come to love it here. I promise. WordPress is beautiful. Welcome to the neighborhood (say I, who have yet to dare move in).

  2. glad you are still bloging! I think that’s cool to be an idealist, especially since the ideal will be here some day. what do I mean by that? In part this: I am starting to view this life as prep for the 1000 years….yep that 1000 years….I take great comfort in that thought, strange as it may sound…..and after that will be even better…..

  3. Maybe the virtual equivalent of the welcome wagon is lots of comments.

If that is so, here is my contribution. It will even last longer than a casserole (but not quite as long as a fruitcake).
