Artisan bread in 5 minutes a day

bread4_14g

I received this book for Christmas.  From the outside it looks like a regular cookbook, full of fun recipes and pictures but one that maybe you’ll never get around to using.  As the old adage says, however, you should never judge a (cook)book by its cover.  It does take longer than 5 minutes, but it is well worth the time!  I made the dough a few days ago (simply a matter of throwing a few ingredients into a mixing bowl) and had it sitting in my fridge, so when I decided to make fresh bread to go with our lunch, I shaped a loaf, let it rise, and 30 minutes later we had fresh bread.  It’s so simple yet so delicious.  I would post a picture but… well, there just isn’t much left anymore.  You can devour the loaf in as much time as you put it together.

And it is so worth it.
