An overly ambitious book list

I would like to think that I’ll make it through all of these books this year, but I seriously doubt it. Maybe this will become my reading list for the next two years. The books are a compilation of several friend’s suggestions as well as some recommendations off of a book club reading list.

  2. Jessica Powers is very, very good.

    FWIW, I haven’t read The Shack, but the folks I know who have read it have hated it.

    The Year of Living Biblically is fascinating. Especially the way acting a certain way changed the way he thought.

    If you like Lahiri, you should try her short story collection too (Interpreter of Maladies). I like it better than her novel.
