Halloween Festivities

On Saturday night, our church did it’s annual Trunk-or-Treat outreach event.  I think they estimated about 5,000 people would be there, which for a town about half that size is quite spectacular.  Waiting with 5,000 candy-hungry children in costume and their parents in line did not sound like a fun plan to us (especially since we would have eaten all of the candy) so we just spent a little over an hour walking around, people watching, and trying to keep Isaac from walking off with people’s strollers and wagons.  He also had his first pony ride.

I was a little afraid he would hate his costume, but aside from being a little bottom heavy and throwing off his balance it didn’t seem to phase him when he saw himself in the mirror and there was a dragon looking back at him.  Very fun night!

  1. I absolutely loved the Dragon Roars video–and I love all of your costumes. You look like a princess for sure!
