A Tale of Two Trees

We have two good-sized trees in our yard, one in the front and one in the back.  To my recollection, they both changed color and lost their leaves at the same time last year.

This year, not so much.  We have the last full set of leaves in the neighborhood, it appears.

Next year’s goal:  Synchronize the trees better.

  1. Funny, we had the same thing this year…until the crazy wind storm blew every leaf to Nebraska within a few hours. Enjoy the leafy tree while you have it. I’m always slightly depressed about empty trees in November, knowing it will be April before there is a sign of life.

  2. We had some wind blow all the leaves off the front tree (and down the street) last week. The problem with being the last people with leaves is that we will probably have to rake them up! And I know what you mean about waiting for spring… it is gray and cloudy today which is a lot of what we’ll get from now until March.
